Kathmandu - Pokhara - Chitwan Tour is among the best tour destinations in Nepal. This tour is the combination of three among the top tourist destinations in Nepal Kathmandu, Pokhara and Chitwan. Kathmandu - Pokhara - Chitwan Tour is unique blend of Nature, Culture and adventure.
Kathmandu –Pokhara-Chitwan tour starts with the sightseeing of different artistic Temples and monasteries in Kathmandu valley. Next day you will have a 7 hours drive to Pokhara. And, by the evening you will find yourself roaming around the beautiful and refreshing lake side in Pokhara. Along with Sightseeing of Pokhara you will also get to visit Sarankot. From sarankot you can observe a spectacular sunrise view and it is also a starting point for adventure sport like paragliding. After exploring Pokhara we will then take you to Chitwan where you will get to enjoy jungle safari and explore the wilderness.

In Kathmandu you will be sightseeing different historical, religious and cultural places like Kathmandu Durbar Square, Bhaktapur Durbar Square and the Patan Durbar Square. These are the most visited tourist sites in Kathmandu valley. These culturally significant places showcase rich art, unique architecture, beautiful sculptures and culture of its time. Pashupatinath temple, Boudhanath stupa, and Swayambhunath stupa are the most visited and major religious sites to visit in Kathmandu valley. Visitors often gets lost enjoying the splendor of the architectural structure, grand stone sculptures and art while sightseeing these places in Kathmandu.
Pokhara is the second-largest city in Nepal. Pokhara is also a major tourist destination in Nepal. Sightseeing in Pokhara includes visiting places such as Davis Fall, Phewa Lake, Begnas Lake, international mountain museum, World peace stupa. The reflection of Mount Machhapuchhre seen across the top of Phewa Lake is picturesque. Pokhara is also a popular destination for adventurous activities such as mountain biking, bungee-jumping, paragliding, ultralight flying, sky diving, and many other thrilling excursions. Chitwan is the next and final destination of Kathmandu - Pokhara - Chitwan Tour. Situated in the southwestern region of Nepal, Chitwan is the fourth-largest city in Nepal. In Chitwan you will get to explore the wilderness of Chitwan National Park. This National Park, spread over 2,238 sq km, is home to diverse variety of flora and fauna including some of the endangered species like Royal Bengal Tiger, One Horned Rhino, Indian Rock Python, Gharials, Leopards and many more. Chitwan national park is one of the first national parks in Nepal. In Chitwan you will get to walk around dense forest for bird watching, ride on the elephant back and explore deep into the forest, have a jeep safari. During Jungle safari you will get to see different animals like deer, one horned rhino in its natural habitat. If you are lucky enough you can even encounter majestic Royal Bengal Tiger.
You can also do canoeing in a small handmade canoe along Rapti River with gharials and marsh magar swimming around the water and sun basking in the banks. The wild safaris are renowned because they provide the perfect opportunity for bird watching and to see the most wild and rare animals in their natural habitat. You will get to enjoy elephant bathing where you will sit on elephant back while elephant will shower water on its back. At the evening tharu cultural dance and show will warm up the heart as we end our tour and drive back to Kathmandu.

After breakfast, we will go and explore Kathmandu. This place along holds four of UNESCO World Heritage sites which is absolutely amazing. We will visit these places to know about their history and significance. On this tour we will visit the scared Hindu temple of Pashupatinath, holy place for Buddhist as well as Hindu people Swayambhunath and Bouddhanath as well as the palace of ancient kings Kathmandu Durbar Square where living goddess Kumari also resides.
After breakfast, we will then drive to Pokhara which is also known as city of lakes. The drive offers beautiful view of harvested fields and landscapes as well as rivers.
We will be visiting Sarangkot early in the morning which is a major view point to see the Himalayas. We will get a fabulous view of Annapurna range, Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), Himchuli and many more. After visiting Sarangkot, we will return back to Pokhara. We will visit Phewa Lake, Gupteswor Cave, David’s waterfall, Barahi Temple, Mountain Museum etc. We can also go boating in these lakes and enjoy.
After a wonderful day in Pokhara, we will leave for Chitwan which is in the terai region. After reaching there, we will be visiting Tharu community village, elephant breeding center and enjoy cultural dance of Tharu community in the night.
We will visit Chitwan National Park for a full day and explore endangered species of birds and animals around the park. The park is home to one horned rhinoceros, tigers, leopards, sloth bears, wild bison, genetic dolphin, 543 species of birds which includes endangered species like Bengal florican, uncounted species of insects and reptiles. We can go for countless activities inside this park like Elephant Safari, Elephant Bath, Cannoning trip etc.
To end our journey, we will again drive back to Kathmandu. On the journey, we will go through plain lands of terai to roads built on hills.
